Just a quick little blog entry to update you on the weeks progress.  More to come later on today as Pete and I are heading down to get some special projects done.

When we were looking at this building we new straight away that the casement windows that had been put in along the top of the glass had to be replaced with leadlighting.  One of our long term customers Mark Carpenter is a glass artist and we contacted him straight away.  Together we came up with a design for the six panels to run along the top of our glass windows.  I can not wait to see how they look.  Mark also has a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Glazit if you are interested in the world of stained glass.

Below is a pic of our new glass and over the next three weeks Mark will be making it a reality for us.  I absolutely adore it.  I really can not wait to see how the light reflects through it...... it will bring magic into our store I am sure of it.

Loving their beards! 😂  I loved being here for this meeting.... these two are very relaxed and "old school", very talented craftsmen.

The glass that will be used.  We are mixing our pinks up in this project.  We figure, after 10 years we can really relax a bit and play around with tones and textures.
